Farm Protocol

We offer a wide array of value-added services and products that cover your entire farm operation, all aimed at nourishing the soil and producing high yield crops. We employ UAVs – drones – to scout your fields, combined with our state-of-the art satellite crop monitoring system to proactively identify trouble spots before they become visible to the naked eye, and regularly update you on the health and progress of your crops.

We custom formulate dry and liquid fertilizers for each specific crop, and for different soil types. We supply you with weather data to help you make well informed decisions about seeding, spraying and other field operations.

Our soil testing service assesses the health of the soil in your fields, identifying different zones based on criteria such as clay or sand content, biomass, existing nutrient levels or salinity. This information is validated to make it easier for you to apply for carbon credits through our project, which is registered and approved on the GHG CleanProjects registry. We offer carbon credits to growers using our customized protocols for soil carbon sequestration, reducing their agricultural land’s carbon footprint and rewarding them for adopting sustainable farming practices.

Dry Protocol

Dunamis

After years of mining the soil, Green Terra Organic Fertilizer Manufacturing L.L.C. is leading the way in improving soil health and nutrient uptake efficiency. An important part of all our crop protocol is to input “intelligence” in your soil by unlocking the soils “inherent power” to making nutrients available for growing a healthy crop from seed to harvest.

ico_fe.jpg
IRON (Fe)
IRON (Fe) is involved when a plant produces chlorophyll, which gives the plant oxygen as well as its healthy green color. It also helps regulate and promote growth
ico_mo.jpg
MOLYBDENUM (Mo)
MOLYBDENUM (Mo) is an essential component in the enzymes that converts nitrate into nitrite (a toxic form of nitrogen) and then into ammonia used to synthesize amino acids within the plant. It also required by symbiotic nitrogen fixing bacteria in legumes to fix atmospheric nitrogen
ico_co.jpg
COBALT (Co)
COBALT (Co) is intimately involved in many different processes of growth which a plant undergoes to reach its full potential. One of these processes is the process by which the plant stem grows and the coleoptile elongates. These two functions both assist in the overall growth of the plant as well as the availability for CO2 absorption by the plant
ico_si.jpg
SILICON (Si)
SILICON (Si) carries Calcium. It promotes stronger and thicker stems, shorter internodes development, prevents lodging, promotes favorable exposure of leaves to light, provides resistance to bacterial and fungal diseases and decrease some abiotic stress as temperatures, salinity, heavy metal and aluminium toxicity
ico_aminen.jpg
NITROGEN (Amine N)
NITROGEN (Amine N) serves as a carrier for all nutrients starting with Magnesium. It is an essential element of all the amino acids in plant structures which are the building blocks of plant proteins, important in the growth and development of vital plant tissues and cells like the cell membranes and chlorophyll. Nitrogen is essential in plant processes such as photosynthesis. Thus, plants with sufficient nitrogen will experience high rates of photosynthesis and typically exhibit vigorous plant growth and development
ico_em.jpg
Effective Microbes
Effective Microbes promote photosynthesis and strengthens the vigour of crops and improves the crop's abilities to withstand drought, floods, diseases and heat stress
ico_ca.jpg
Calcium (Ca)
Calcium (Ca) is essential for soil, root and crop health. It is an important nutrient for crop germination, growth of new roots and root hairs, and the development of leaves. Calcium displaces sodium which leads to reduced soil compaction overtime. It combines with Nitrogen forming a bond that makes the Nitrogen more efficient (N:Ca ratio is more stable and efficient than N:S ratio). It helps the crop respond better to stress and builds cell rigidity to help fight off pest and diseases

During burn-off pass, we activate the crops transport system with bio-available Boron and our growth guidance technology. This will help kick start the plant’s nutrient absorption process.

We have growers follow up with tissue sampling to ensure that the crop has what it needs prior to and at the reproductive stage of the crops growth cycle. Our aim is to ensure that there is always a balance in the nutrient co-factors and plant hormones at every stage to maximize the plants genetic potential.

Our drone scouting service gives our growers a birds eye view of the crop. With our 4-in-1 drone cameras, we proactively look out for crop stress and come up with a plan to mitigate against potential yield losses. We can even create a Variable Rate Map that is compatible with most equipment.

G.T.A. PROGRAM BENEFITS

BLUEPRINT FOR GROWTH

Different Crops have a unique pathway for achieving their maximum genetic yield potential. That’s why GTA has put in years analyzing soil test and tissue sample reports to better understand each crops’ unique blueprint for growth. From our learning’s, research and experience, we are now able to provide different crops with the right combination of nutrient(s) needed to compliment the deficiencies uncovered from the soil testing and tissue sample reports. This results in a balance of nutrients and plant hormone all through the crops growth cycle.

Every soil and crop has different co-factor (Macro/Micro Nutrients) needs. We understand this so we work closely with farmers and their agronomist to decipher the correct combination of nutrients specific to their land & crops while taking into consideration prevailing environmental conditions. Together, we unlock each crops unique ‘blue print for growth’ specific to the farmers cropping needs with our scientifically proven systematic customized protocols.

For liquid Macro/Micro nutrients to be effective, the right prescription of nutrient(s) at the right timing has to be applied. That’s why we do not deal with the industry standard ‘broad spectrum formulations. At GTA One size doesn’t fit all !!!

Carbon Rebate Program

What are carbon credits?

Carbon credits (also, carbon markets) are part of national and international attempts to mitigate the amount of greenhouse gas (GHG) emitted to the atmosphere. Activities contributing to GHG emissions reduction generate carbon credits. These carbon credits can be sold back to regulated industries to offset/compensate their carbon emissions taxes.

How can crop growers contribute to carbon credits?

The agricultural sector is increasingly being tied to carbon markets. Crop growers can do their part to help with the mitigation of GHG emissions. Carbon sequestration is a major process for crops to reduce atmospheric carbon concentration. Carbon credits can be generated when crop growers follow sustainable cropping practices which are in compliance with global standards.

Key benefits:

What can we offer?

Our carbon credits project is registered and approved on the GHG CleanProjects® registry which enables us to offer carbon credits to crop growers that are using our customized protocols for soil carbon sequestration thereby providing our crop growers with the opportunity to gain carbon credits. We’ll take care of all the steps described as follows:

1. Where you are.

We offer a background investigation into the farmland, which includes the examination of previous agricultural practices, crop yields and survey of the farmland in the past three years. The farmland will be divided into various zones and a soil sampling plan is created based on this information.

2. What we will do.

We will offer soil sampling for a baseline scenario in the field using appropriate protocols. The soil sampled at this stage are considered as baseline samples. Our soil sampling team is equipped with a 50-inch minimal disturbance soil collection probe which is of no harm to farm fields. The sampling locations are geocached in our GPS system and a soil sampling map is generated.

3. Where you are headed:

All soil samples are packaged properly from the field and transported to our state-of-the-art laboratory equipped with ICP-OES and carbon testing equipment, without any form of contamination. This ensures our growers get the highest possible credits for their activities. All of our lab scientists are competent in analyzing soil organic carbon (SOC) and all macro and micronutrients. The soil carbon test results are recorded in our database system and a carbon soil map is generated, which can be accessed conveniently by crop growers.
At the end of the cropping season (after 5 years) with our protocol, re-sampling is done at the same sites that samples were collected as baseline scenario. Changes of SOC are analyzed in our laboratory and sequestered carbon is calculated using appropriate algorithm.
The crop grower’s agricultural practices are tracked. Carbon credits are quantified based on protocols. After validation and verification, the carbon credits are ready to be traded in carbon markets.
This offering is open to all crop growers, whether Conventional or Organic.
We currently have a branch of our carbon rebate program for no-till/minimal-till that offers credits for such or any conservative farming practice
